After catching my breath, I descended 75 meters underground into an authentic, decommissioned 19th-century gold mine shaft. Walking through the cool, dark tunnels where miners once struck it rich gave me a whole new appreciation for the history of “The City of Gold.”
By the afternoon, I watched the park transform into a family paradise. From the classic carousel to the roaring water rapids, the laughter of kids filled the air.
